Welcome to CP, Dean. Some people foolishly think this is just a place to find source code and programming info, but the more enlightened amongst us regard it as a way of life. There's just a couple of house rules you need to know, and you'll be fune: Please don't feed John's pet goat, he'll get jealous. Refer to Rant n Rave if you feel the need to vent your spleen, just watch out because Dave Wulff has left some of his old pr0n lying around in there. The Visual C++ forum is the place to ask programming questions, but be forewarned that any mention of C functions, CFile or CArray will result in me berating you beyond all hope of reason to use the STL/IOStreams. Many minorities are represented here, including trans-sexuals ( although the person in question never revealed their identity ), people from the third world ( Nish ), and even VB programmers ( Paul Watson ). So welcome, join the fun, and if you are ever so foolish as to leave, please leave the door open on the way out.... :-) Christian The tragedy of cyberspace - that so much can travel so far, and yet mean so little. Wait and see...when the time comes for me to formally change my name (which is unlikely to happen until sometime next year) I'll let the CP community know in advance that it's about to happen. :) Daniel Ferguson wrote: Did'nt Anna say that s/he used to post in the Lounge, but would not anymore under the old name. Not quite what I said, but not too far off either. What I actually said was that I wouldn't post under this name unless there was a good reason for doing so. At the moment I still post under my old name, and will continue to do so until I formally change it. Anna :rose:
