    Not so bad now with the Can$ climbing the way it has been, but here I find according to CNN Money that Software Engineer is the best job and they make $80,000 / year on average. Wow. I'm on the wrong side of the border, I guess. Best Jobs[^]

          I don't know. I do not make 80K a year yet and I work with doctors that easily make 10 times my salary.

                switch to Engineering. :) R&D if you can err... hack it. :)

                        I'd be intrested in seeing what the averages look like once manhatten, la, and the sf bay area are removed from the picture. $80k would be a top level salary for a senior person where i live if available at all.

                          And only half of them are correct (Assuming a normal distribution of talent and that every thinks that they are above average.)
