    Can I install sql server 2005 dev and then install sql server 2000 dev after that on a xp pro ?

      Wouldn't know about any issues of 2000 installed after 2005 the normal sequence is usually 2000 first then 2005 next. I have had both on one machine at the same time without any problems. So it is very likely it would install with very few issues.

        i have both on my system. so i think it should work correctly together. basically, you won`t have troubles.

            Ofcourse it does. :) SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 installations are seperate, which is why you can install multiple instances on one box without problems. :)
