I'm looking to evaluate some free content management systems for my client. So far I'm looking at Alfresco and KnowledgeTree community editions, but would like some more suggestions if any are forthcoming from this forum.

When he asked for a free CMS, I don't think he had in mind "free to be the most expensive".

ah well, there are more CMS out there than bugs in my favourite OS ... *grin* what about aspect-oriented evaluation ? like, using www.cmsmatrix.net[^] for example. and my personal recommendation: www.drupal.org[^] (open-source enterprise CMS)

I've heard a lot of good spoken of Drupal. Maybe I'll look at that first.
