That will teach George not to be so arrogant and to let others proof read the script before he starts filming. Man - what a let down that was. Coulda been so good :( But..."attack of the clones". Seems like a great way to save money on CGI by just filling the movie with thousands of the same computer generated character. He should have gone back to basics and created the film in the same way Star Wars was done. cheers, Chris Maunder

Cynisysm is my area of speciality. If your not careful you will have a dermarcation dispute on your hands. The unions will come in and CodeProject will be shut down. In future please keeep to your freaky physics/quantum mechanics area and let the normal people go about their business. ;P Michael Martin Australia mjm68@tpg.com.au "He orginally got the Tweezers of Destruction through the scanners but then popped back outside for a smoke." - Chris Maunder 26/03/2002

A design intelligent drinks dispencers for a "competitor" or theirs, and I've drunk so many bad mixes whilst testing, I hate the taste of anything cola-ish. As for show bags, I got loads more when I went to see LOTR, including a free ticket to a second showing. The distributors must have made a deal with the cinema chain... Pepsi Max is the only cola drink that I can stomach anymore. Can't survive a long coding session without it. :-) Michael :-)

Nothing new there then. I think everyone thought that. I personally think Phantom Menace verged on being a remake of the original "A New Hope". Basically the hero is discovered, the jedi gets killed, and the hero blows up a space station. Jeremy Davis http://www.astad.org

That was the point of the film. They wanted to show how the young Vader’s choices were different from his son's. (He choose to leave his home and mother, Luke was forced into it when his parents were killed etc… )

Yes, I suppose they were. :-O But I still came out of the Phantom Menace thinking "I've seen that film somewhere before" which spoilt bit for me. Jeremy Davis http://www.astad.org
