This is pretty impressive. The software allows you to draw diagrams that are then animated by applying gravity to the unanchored pieces. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZNTgglPbUA&eurl=[^] The demo is fairly simple. I haven't been able to find more info, but I wonder how specific it can get. Can you specify an angle is 15°, rather assuming you drew it perfectly? Can you define the weight of moving parts?

        I want one! :sigh:

If you're stuck in a rut: 1) Consult the documentation* 2) Google it 3) Ask a sensible question 4) Try an ancient ritualistic knowledge summoning (:badger::badger::badger:) dance :jig: 5) Phone :bob: * - If the documentation is MSDN > 6.0 then forget it!

My company access restricts sites like YouTube and whatnot ... can you locate the actual company website and post that link please? Thank you.

By googling what he said at the beginning, I managed to find this[^] and this[^] (pdf links) I'll see if I can find anything more.. [edit] This guy's page[^] has more pdfs (follow the publications link - damn framesets!) [/edit] [edit2] lots of stuff here[^] - including a promising looking "toolkit.zip" - contains a java sketch tool that does the shape recognition, but doesn't seem to contain the physics stuff - I guess that must be a different course! -- modified at 11:06 Thursday 5th October, 2006 -- modified at 11:12 Thursday 5th October, 2006

This is a video of a guy doing a demo - I don't think the same video would be available on their company page - also I don't think they even mentioned where you can download or buy it from.

              Regards, Nish
