Most of the time they are! Actually I'd have to say they are pretty much always a good time.

Grant->Katie->Paige Grant is 6, Katie will be 5 on December 21st and Paige is 19 months old. Paige is currently my favorite thing on this earth. Grant and Katie are my second most favorite things on this earth but Paige positively thinks I'm the coolest. She flips out whenever she sees me come home or whenever she comes home she toddles around trying to find me. I pretty much flip out when I see her so it's a good thing. Grant and Katie have entered into the "we're cool" now phase so I'm still their top dawg but they have their own moments now. It's all fun. Tonight I declared open war and inspired a lot of carnage with a good pillow fight. I pasted my oldest two frequently to squeels of delight. My youngest I'd just gently sandwich her between two and she loved it. She'd try to run off screaming in glee and pretty much fall over giggling. Kids! I'm glad I'm so much more grown up than they are. It will be sad when they mature as I'm not sure I ever will...:sigh::-D

Wow.. what an affectionate father. ! You know I love my Dad too. He's very cool but he never plays with us. Though he never plays with us, he has never said "No" for anything good we ask. But the pillow fights! I missed it a lot :).. Your kids are really cute Rex. My love and regards to them. I'm a good cartoonist :-D I wish someday I could send them some real cool cartoons made. I love kids very much.

Just came across Chris Austin's thread below[^] and wondered how many proud, new* parents are there out there on CP? My team leader commented that "you're such a new dad, Jon" the other day, as she found me idly watching my Slickr screen saver[^] serve up photos of my boy for me. (This[^] is probably one of my faves...) Anyone else been caught admiring photos of their kids at work? Anyone else just think their kids are the bees knees? Anyone else think it is so great to be a parent? Or is it just me...? Cheers, Jon *subjective: my boy is two years old, but I still consider myself to be a "new" dad.
Without a doubt, as annoying as it was hearing about kids from new parents, I don't see how all the parents I've known were as restrained as they were. Luke is just the best thing in the world to me. Yours looks like a little handful, I bet he's a lot of fun.
Using the GridView is like trying to explain to someone else how to move a third person's hands in order to tie your shoelaces for you. -Chris Maunder

I'm with you man, got a 7 month old son. Currently he's my desktop, but he's got his own blog - PTrane's Blog

That's a shame...
not really, when it comes to children, I'm a statistical freak. My wife hasn't been to a baby shower in years. The last one went something like this: Unknown mother: "Oh, I see you're expecting! How wonderful! Is this your first or second?" Wife: "No, this is my ninth..." Unknown mother: "I beg your pardon. Did you say nine?!" Wife: "yes, nine." The party is now deathly quiet. All of the commenting about how hard it is to keep up with a single 2 year old has faded away...... :)

Yeah, but I find it so easy to fall into that "gushing parent" mode... :sigh:

I've been a proud new* dad for 6 years now. I've even been accused of having a "shrine" to admire my kids. Is 5 picture frames for 3 girls and their mother too many? :~ Good Weekend, All.
