Wow, why is so boring media converters... Before I was searching some free wav/wma to mp3 converter, now avi to mpeg... I really not bother if exists a lot of formats, since what exists some free tool to conert among all!!! Someone knows a good FREE avi to mpeg converter? Regards

I haven't done any converting myself, but I see TMPGEnc[^] recommended all the time.

Really ? It was free for the longest time. The MPEG codec isn't free, from memory. The software to do the conversion exists in many forms, as it's easy to write.
