Updating records from a detailsview not working asp.net 2

Hi I have a dropdownlist which records are populated from a surname search text box which works fine. The user then clicks on a person which displays a detailsview of that person which i also want to be able to update. When i first added this, the update worked fine, i changed some formatting in the details view and now the records wont update no matter what i seem to be trying! Ive searche online and it looks like everything is fine, please help someone! Adam :sigh:

Hi I have the same problem. I spent a lot of time trying to fix this but without any success. I added some bounded and template fields to detailsview, witch may caused the problem. If you find a solution, can you please share it with me? Thanks
