Database help

Hi all, I am getting really stressed and I am hoping someone could help me out. I am trying to update a record into a table in MS Access database using table adapters in VB.net 2005. I have read the stuff on the sites and it still does not work does anybody have any ideas or any way to do it? Please help.

MyDataSet.Student_Details.Rows(2).Item(3) = "new"
MyDataSet.GetChanges(DataRowState.Modified)
Student_DetailsTableAdapter1.Update(MyDataSet)
MyDataSet.AcceptChanges()

                    Me.Validate()
                    Me.Student\_DetailsBindingSource.EndEdit()
                    Me.Student\_DetailsTableAdapter1.Update(Me.MyDataSet.Student\_Details)
