Vista bug OTD

I was trying out the external drive enclosure I bought recently (but the only drive I had lying around was an ancient Quantum, heavy, loud, and only 12GB!). I dragged my source directory over to it and once the progress bar hit 100%, I ended up with this: clickety :omg:

Ah, it took me at least 5 minutes to see what the bug was. I was so stunned by the beautiful Vista graphics. Nothing will ever be the same to me anymore now. Not my lowly XP OS, not my girlfriend, not my cat. Damn you, Microsoft! ;P Marc

That's why the "Less info" button is there. Clears the problem right up. Mark

but it is a pretty bug! (for the first two times you see that dialog, I guess)

I have Windows 98 and an external usb connected hard drive and often get the same type of message when moving large files. You'd think they would have fixed it by now?

try hitting the standard sized close box when it is in the upper right corner using a touch screen instead of the keyboard / mouse...sometimes bigger is better.. :rolleyes: Steve
