Fun. I've been writing an XQuery interpreter in Java for my compiler construction class.
And I get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again

... and I am trying to help someone with JFlex and JCup to develop a SQL parser.
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it. -Brian Kernighan

How's it feel to be the man? When I was in school I took compiler contruction very ligtly, but now I regret that. I want to work on getting these tools ported to .NET. There are some ports already but they are not at all .NETish.

Good luck! One year ago, I had the chance to take such Java exam(before the exam, I hadn't be informed that the Java would be the subject, and I always thought it was c++), and the reality was I knew nothing about it(except its name). So I answered all the questions just imaging all of them were c++ questions :)
Thanks Benben

It's been ages since I've actually written anything. I think the PDC (1 year ago) was the last time, not counting little things like my rent checks.
