Wow! How time flies by..... I just realized I completed 1 whole year successfully as a software engineer yesterday (woot!). College seems just like an hour ago. I still haven't lost my job which means I must be doing SOMETHING right! So, why do I feel like I don't know ANYTHING? :sigh:

Keep on learning! It's a never ending process. Don't try to know EVERYTHING at once, or your head will a-splode (to quote strongbad http://www.homestarrunner.com/[^]) :)

Hahah, I know the feeling. I start my new job in februari and I felt that way when I got the second interview and they started asking me all these technical things like the dangers of unsafe code and reasons why I would use it. And I probably will feel the way you do now in 2008 when I completed my first year ;P

A year and you dont know anything yet? Damn, you must have been unlucky and picked a crap company for your first job. I remember my first year, learnt Win32 API and MFC in the first year, produced the companies best ever product in the second. In my third year I got a defence job writing NT4 device drivers for submarine SONAR analysis.
