Anyone recommend any cheap web hosting companies. I've taken a look on Google and there are a bunch of $1.99/mo type offers, but are they any good? I'm looking for someone to host a simple (20 pages) HTML only site. Reliablity is all that really matters to me.

I use BigWetFish, its about €20 a year including the Domains, for very reasonable service. I can't fault it for what it is, I have two accounts with them, including the one in my sig and am very happy.

I had used http://www.8-95.com/[^] and they were very solid and reliable. No ASP or .net support so I migrated to another, but if raw html and php4 is sufficient, they had served me well.

I have been using this[^]* for myself and some of my clients since a few months and I'm quite happy with them. They let you host 6 sites on a single account, and you also get lots of scripts and other goodies installed. Good for static HTML pages, or PHP. (edit: Oh, and I should add, their Support is awesome. I have had to email them twice, once when I needed help with something, and another time to get a name changed, and they responded within 15-20 minutes with the CORRECT answer!) I use godaddy and a third from a friend of mine that doesn't post on English speaking boards.
