I have to admit I normally love mindless humor, but I've never found Jack Black that funny. Note I have not seen Nacho Libre, but in his other movies I'm not laughing that much.

Have you listened to any of the Tenacious D songs though?

There are parts of Nacho where it feels like he's just being Jack Black, like when he improvs a song.  But, I saw it with a friend, and I will admit that quoting to it each other ever since has added a lot of value to the movie, meaning my rating will probably be too high.  Still a funny film, funnier than School of Rock, for instance.

I didn't realise that School of Rock was meant to be funny... but then again, maybe that's just me.

Well, I assume that was the goal.  I agree tho, not very funny.  Mostly good because the song at the end was good.

Have you see the clip for the Dio song 'Push' ? It starts with them playing 'Heaven and hell', but they change the words: sing us a song, you're a singer bring us a bong, you're a bringer of reefer

that's the only song of thiers I've ever heard. That song is also the reason I've never heard any of thier other songs.

I second that motion. Except for the dog-kicking scene in Anchorman...
