ASP.NET Design / Source problems?

Hey all! ive been using ASP Ajax Beta 2 now for a few days and its already driving me crazy!!! First of all, ill be happily dragging controls onto the my design view (scriptmanager, updatepanel, progress and so on) and it all looks good... I switch to source view and all my ajax controls have the "red line of doom" and my error list says things like: Error 20 Element 'ScriptManager' is not a known element. This can occur if there is a compilation error in the Web site..... Switch back to Design view and it renders ok and builds propperly! And the other problem ive noticed is if i change any properties in design view of any control, and switch back to Source view it has screwed all the markup code up! It does things like put all the code on one line and make it very difficult to work with and i have to tab it all out again!:-( Does anyone know why its doing this and any solutions?
