If you cant understand an article that somebody has sat down with the express intention of explaining something, what makes you think someone here will be able to explain it any better in a single forum post? Can I suggest you leave something like URL re-writing for the time being, and stick to some simpler projects until your understanding of ASP.NET is better - at which point you might understand your articles. In short, learn to walk before you try to run.
