        The only way that article could even be considered sensible is if the calendar said it was April 1st. :) What a bunch of power hungry, ignorant, idiots.

Must be nice having tons of $ to throw around....seems like laws only apply when you don't have enough $ to lobby congress.

"The MPAA defines a home theater as any home with a television larger than 29" with stereo sound and at least two comfortable chairs, couch, or futon. " ROTFL!

Here's one of several statements that I can not believe : "Just because you buy a DVD to watch at home doesn't give you the right to invite friends over to watch it too." Astonishing. :wtf:

Although the article is satire, we do honor the golden rule. He who owns the gold, makes the rules.

I'm glad we're paying congress to deal with this crap...because I'm sure they don't have anything better to do

That's a satirical write up :-) It's also a re-post from yesterday, but with the recent animosity towards re-post mentions, I'll just ignore that.

When I did a post about John's "Re-Post" message, that was not really animosity. I thought it was funny to tell him his RePost post was a repost of his former posts... Anyway...

I wasn't referring to you - in fact I don't even remember reading this specific thread you are talking about. I was being more general :-) In any case, I got a 1-vote just for mentioning it - shows that some people are weak.

Re-post from the other day, turns out BBSpot is good for Satire. Not that I would put something of this nature past the laywers from MPAA. MPAA Lobbying for Home Theater Regulations[^]

I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:
