... and Indians, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans .... Really, I would have thought that other countries would have taken to a game with phrases like "A fine tickle between the legs", "Bowling a maiden over" and my particular favourite: "The bowler's Holding. The batsman's Willy." Absolute class:laugh:

Arthur Dent - "That would explain it. All my life I've had this strange feeling that there's something big and sinister going on in the world." Slartibartfast - "No. That's perfectly normal paranoia. Everybody in the universe gets that." Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

Yeah, those Brits  It's funny how imperialism works. In my country, Denmark, which lies next to England, only separated by a little water, Cricket is next to non-existent. We know what it is, but no one plays it. In India on the other hand, on the other side of the globe, it's popular as hell - they've learned it from their former "prison guards". -- modified at 8:12 Tuesday 5th December, 2006

While watching the first test a female reporter was interviewing one of the commentators and he came out with this "This morning I got three fingers right in the crack" The look on the womans face was priceless

We knew that already. The team choice wasn't very inspired, but still at least one of my local team players shone (Collingwood).
