Some cigarettes, Good Chocolate And IE7 :suss: through automatic update ! The first two things I like very much. Concerning the third, I didn't yet make up my mind. First thing I did was disabling the ClearType thing, because text looked slightly blurred on the pages. Do you like IE7 ? Marius

The automatic fit-to-page feature really sucks. They don't even provide, as far as I can tell, a way to disable it ! You can go to Print Preview and turn it off, but that's on a page by page basis :mad:!

Yes, but this takes so little effort.

In my country the combination of the first two would be :suss:... ;) Well, I've installed the new IE7 and it works like charm for me, and moreover it's GUI likes me, so I'm happy with it.

Hate it, but before the MS-philes jump up & down saying 'HOW CAN YOU HATE IT YOU HERETIC!!!' or something of that nature, let me explain: I have been a Microsoft developer for 10+ years, this is mainly from necessity - some software MS produce is allright, some is bad - just like everything in life. Heres why I don't like it: 1. Since it installed I have had numerous users ask me simple questions like where is the refresh and\or home page button... I know they are fairly obvious on the interface but they are not where they used to be therefore basic users get confused. I do not need this, an interface should be self explanatory. 2. I dislike the fact that the toolbars cannot be customised as fully as before, I know tabbed browsing has to cause some limitations but to restrict functionality is just dumb. 3. My department runs several web pages, I also run several of my own - the amount of small bugs we have found is exceptionally annoying, particularly as the CSS rendering now seems dodgier than ever... There are things that have potential (research tool bar, add-ons) but I use Firefox as my default, the fact you can switch between IE and Firefox rendering engines in Firefox means I hardly ever use the IE7 interface.

The main thing I hate about IE7s tab abilities it that the entire IE system freezed entirely until the new tab is loaded. If I am using some web forum software on the subject of one of my hobbies I sometimes want to open up many posts from the list of threads and so in Firefox I go right clicking, selecting open in new tab. As soon as I have clicked it I move onto the next one, going all the way down the page opening up to 15 separate tabs and this happens in a matter of seconds. If I try and do the same in IE7 then the current page freezed and all links become unclickable whilst it is trying to open the new tab, and can be anything from 3 to 7 seconds and so my web link clicking process won't work. I never had this problem in IE6 when I said open in new Window!

As long as the the page comes up properly in IE or FF (which ever one does that fastest) I am fine with that. I hate the IE7's go and refresh button. I hate the FF's late startup when we click on a link in some other application.

Well, here in Spain (I don't know what happens in other countries) if you say the word chocolate, you can mean the delicious brown aliment that almost everybody loves... or you can try to mean cannabis. So this is why I said that the combination of cigarretes with chocolate was a little... But as you tell that they are normal... :-D
