I've integrated the Forum Discussion boards with the comments, and now the latest postings to the forums appears in the "Latest Comments" section. The Lounge is for anything, but I too would like to see less "Help me solve this" and more "what do you think about this" kinda stuff. It's nice to browse and get into heated debates knowing whatever wild assertions you make won't actually get tested beyond basic logic :) cheers, Chris Maunder

Chris, I'd like to see a 'warning' added to the Lounge, eg "Posting Programming Questions in this Forum is likely to return you of the Wall Responses" Just a suggestion Regardz Colin Davies Campus motto, Bottoms Up, Mac

There is a warning, actually, but it must not be visible enough. :) --Mike-- http://home.inreach.com/mdunn/ "That probably would've sounded more commanding if I wasn't wearing my yummy sushi pajamas." -- Buffy

...general programming questions should be posted to the Discussion boards Not a warning, per se. More like a nudge towards the forums (the "Discussion boards" is a link). As for Reuters, *shrug* it's all right. I'm not hating it, but I'm not totally thrilled either. Like today, I got a 1 GHz P3 dev machine today, but it was just the box. No nice monitor or speakers to go along with it. So I'm using a 2000 computer with a 1996 monitor. --Mike-- http://home.inreach.com/mdunn/ "That probably would've sounded more commanding if I wasn't wearing my yummy sushi pajamas." -- Buffy

Yeah that's just plain foolishness, (probably by management) I wonder how many top developers are having to "peer" into a lil 17" monitor and have multimedia kit that / doesn't function correctly. "And then they complain about the development time being slow" Regardz Colin

Luxury !! I have the fastest PC here, and it's my own ( AMD 700, dual 17" monitors, 128M RAM, 33 Gig HDD ). But it freezes if I run dual head all day. :( Christian The content of this post is not necessarily the opinion of my yadda yadda yadda. To understand recursion, we must first understand recursion.
