While researching current security threats I happened to come across this: http://www.undergroundsystems.org/[^] Funniest thing I have seen in AGES. I couldn't stop laughing at one post which was titled "Change any Password in Windows". Thinking it was another 0-day i clicked it. This guy had posted a mini article on how to change the password of any user in Windows.

The gist of it was: Open command prompt. Type: net user [username] * enter new password.

What made this funny is the fact that it had about 60 posts complementing him on a great hack. Honestly I don't know what inspires stupidity in these people, but if only I could harness its power!

Brad Australian I assume Microsoft would not use doors, because using Windows is faster.

We did, and thus McDonald's was born.

It isn't that they didn't know the command, it is that they thought that using the prompt to run what was obviously a standard function was a hack.

Only thing more fun about such is those people who try to "interject" javascript into a post on for instance forums as this, attempting to direct them to some "hacked by" some random nobody...... Sheezz, scriptkiddies.

I think we need a new word for those people... how about script-toddlers? Just btw if you look up 80% of those "hacked by" sites' whois information you will see that they were registered by the hacker.
