Which shows you don't really get what's going on. I don't call people stupid for having different opinions.

No, I "get" that you think posting about sexually related topics should be as forbidden as posting about religion (in the lounge), which I agree, but you posted it, so had to respond as if was the SB. Maybe we don't agree on the kid sister rules. What's the age cutoff? Me and my kid sister talked about this stuff all the time, back in the day...

What's you're definition of "right": what you believe in?
It's simple, don't pervert kids with sex-related material. Let them enjoy their childhood before they have to come to the realization most people are suppressed pervs.

 I'm not laughing at you, with you (or to myself). Do you really think the CP Lounge is influencing kids that much? I know, I know, keep it clean, but there's a lot of other stuff out there, especially on TV that's much, much worse. Just MHO.

Hey! I'm also obsessed with cinnamon rolls!
Will you get off my wavelength. Though, who doesn't think about beer, pizza, cinnamon rolls and pie at least as much as sex. I was just talking to my wife about making a few of pans of cinnamon rolls to take over to the neighbors for the holidays. I need to go out and get some of that good Vietnamese cinnamon that has some real heat to it, and mix it with some sifted fresh ground cinnamon stick. So where do you stand on the whole pecans in cinnamon rolls and frosting. For me they have to have pecans and I could go either way on the frosting.
I like pecans, but don't consider them essential. Dried cranberries are also good. But the dough is the big thing for me - if possible, i make it up a few days ahead of time, so that it can spend some time in the fridge, gaining flavor. I love a good, cream cheese and vanilla frosting. But no frosting is better than mediocre frosting. Your comment on cinnamon makes me think... i use a lot of cheap, pre-ground cinnamon; it might pay off for me to hunt down some better stuff.

Well, it's just that much more sad. Oh, we don't want kids to have sex at a young age, but let's shove it down their throats and expect them not to be curious about it. :sigh:

My point was I'm not calling them stupid over different beliefs. I'm calling them stupid over the blatant hypocrisy that revolves around them. And, I'm sure not that many kids visit this place, but watch how people accept sex in the SB and shun off everything else that's controversial. It's sad. Nevertheless, I'm sure there are young kids learning to code that do visit here, and as long as that's the case and I haven't given up on CP yet, I will not accept this garbage in the lounge.

Off the top of my head I don't know. I'd probably think 12 would be nice, but that idea may change if I ever had a kid. I seriously doubt anything before 10 is acceptable. My hunch would be around puberty so they'd at least have some understanding of what in the world is going on.

Yeah, but what's sadder is kids that don't know about condoms or have been told they are not acceptable. Kids are going to and will have sex, regardless of TV (trust me, I grew up in the 70/80's [don't laugh, you 60's generation]), so encouraging safe sex is vital to prevent unwanted pregnancies, abortions, and STDs. Trying to hide this is an abomination, IMHO.

Well, this is a different can of worms. And, it's really kinda difficult to talk about this stuff outside of the SB.

That's probably because of the kid sister rule in the lounge, so it's good that you raise the point when you think it's offensive. The SB is the Wild Wild West! I'm just saying that kids know this stuff already, so don't make or break CP on it.

That's a great philosophy, and one that I follow also. Unfortunately, we're outnumbered by the media that are all about the almighty dollar. It's just funny when I talk to my 12 year old nephew, and he's talking about this stuff, which makes ME uncomfortable! Makes me feel like a stodgy old fart (I'm only 36, damnit!)

I feel the same way. Did Volkswagon get it right: Lead, Follow or Get out of the way? I try to provide inspiration for the kids, leading by example, but sometimes it seems like a lost cause in this day and age. Now I know how my parents felt. :->

Josh talks about condoms in the lounge and the idiots give him a 4.4, but for all things good with the world don't let anyone mention the word "Jesus" in the lounge. The sick bastards that do should be killed!! I mean, what if kids hear the word "Jesus"? I shudder to think. Really, it's sad to think that loser/dorks here that can't get laid and are obsessed with sex is the majority. God, did I ever pick the wrong profession to hang out with people with.
