I was installing Windows XP to a customer, and I used only the keyboard (I really like this). I collected a lot of cool tips about this: 1) All your job starts with WIN+D. This will show the desktop and the cursor will be in desktop icons. Here: 1.1) Do you can navigate icon-by-icon using arrow keys; 1.2) To select + than one icon: 1.2.1) Press and hold Ctrl in the first icon; 1.2.2) Yet holding Ctrl, use the keys to navigate to next desired icon; 1.2.3) Yet holding Ctrl, Press spacebar to select the icon 1.2.4) Repeat the process until select the desired icons 1.3) Shift+F10 = right mouse click -> your best friend 1.4) Ctrl+Spacebar = Toggle icon selection 1.5) Ctrl+Shift+Arrows = Select adjacent icons 2) Now, press the first time TAB. The cursor goes to Start Button 2.1) Easy. Enter key open the menu and arrows to move cursor, Enter key to open any icon 3) TAB key again. The cursor goes to Quick Launch. Use Arrows and Enter keys again 4) TAB key again. Now you are in TaskBar. Use Arrows and Enter keys again 5) TAB key again. Now you are in System Tray. Use Arrows and Enter keys again. Don't forget of Shift+F10 6) TAB key again. You are back to Desktop. Welcome back :) 7) Final tips: Try "Alt+Tab", "Ctrl+Esc". And in any opened window: Alt+Spacebar I hope what helps someone ;)
