"If you ask, ‘Was this worth our investment,' you'd get an enthusiastic triple-thumbs-up from Meg Whitman," eBay's chief executive, Albert said. I didn't realize she had three thumbs. That is just plain creepy.

I have seen two women with one extra thumb each. A second thumb is attached to the first thumb in one hand but is not capable of functioning separately. We need to watch Meg Whitman's hands to check if this is the case with her. ;P

She's a high-level exec. If you've only got one thumb to stick up your butt, you'll never make it beyond Sr. Manager.

I've got a friend who's left hand had two thumbs, no fingers ;P Used to have great fun telling children from other schools that he'd been part of a government project involving a large vat of acid that had gone horribly wrong

I thought Skype already charged for landline calls.

I had to buy time to make Landline calls in 2006. But it is so cheap I still after spending two weeks away from home, making one hour calls every second night had $10.00 left over. I originally bought $15.00. In fact I had to just phone home locally a month ago to keep the account active. Perhaps the $30.00 is now a surcharge on top of their regular rates. Either way you cannot beat it if you are travelling for more than one week in the entire year.

Good for them :( OK, those e-capitalist b**tards, I will hapily stop using it. Really, what do they think they have -- there are so many other ways to chat/IM/video! I think ebay is entirely too hyped too!

I agree. It is nearly impossible to get a MONTH of landline or cellphone service for that price in the USA.
