I discovered something funny recently while being back in the job market. When a recruiter calls you up and insinsts that they've sent you an email multiple times with a job description (which btw was looking for a Software Engineer to fill a Project Management position eh?) be sure to check your spam box :D On both hotmail and gmail this recruiter's emails kept landing in my bit bucket. And now that I check my spam box on gmail there's quite a few job offers in there right next to the increase your penny size and viagra emails. Browsing the spam box is like reading the national equirier.

 I get a number of these unsolicited recruiting email messages,I don't have my resume visible and hasn't been for a while. Most of the time these particular types of recruiters end up in the junk email box and rarely are their requirements even a partial match on whats contained in my resume. I suppose that I consider that variety to definitely be spam...

I've had a lot of e-mail I wanted put in my spam folder. I had to turn off the hotmail and yahoo spam filter just so I can get the e-mail I want. It really bothers me when sites like the "help" me. BTW, most of the real spam was getting through so I didn't think there was a spam filter.
