You lumped sex with drinking, abortion, and adultery.

First, I mentioned some and add "...name them". Second, in my fornication life I did all that and more like lie, even a 5-month twi-babe were aborted - meaning one leads to the other.

I assumed you did it before you found "the light" because you enjoyed it.

When I reflect on it, I know I had hurt more people as I "enjoy" myself. For me and my friends it was more of a game, unfortunately not on "characters" that are virtual arts, but human with feelings. Getting it today and tomorrow was what matters the most, looking for the next "beautiful thing in town".

Now that you've converted, sex is suddenly bad. Typical of those who are "reformed" from anything.

Repenting of an acts means you came to understand and realized it was bad. That is where the true repentance is, not because the Bible says do not do this or that.

Naturally, we advice people we cared about not to repeat our mistakes and this is what happens when you become a Christian. If this is bad, it might even mean advising someone against something you "think" is bad is wrong - I hope this is not what you mean to say. So you're basically saying you were irresponsible when you were sexually active. Didn't respect your partner? Probably didn't pay any attention to birth control? Probably didn't try to protect yourself or your partner from STDs? This doesn't make sex itself bad. Sex is a perfectly natural activity. You just have to show some responsibility about how you practice it.

For one thing, the heater doesn't consume any fuel. It's just the equivalent of a radiator inside the car and uses waste engine heat that would be vented by the main radiator anyhow. If your gas guage goes up, either you were parked on a hill or were going up or down a hill when the reading changed or it's defective.

Hmmm, in a cold whether it depends on the state of your engine and zero effect is not accepted anywhere. You might wish to take a look at this[^].

Not parked, not climbing any hill, my car is just returned from the compulsory maintenance scheme here in Japan (that explains why I over-spent my budget, since they by law change any thing and you have to pay), it cannot be defective reading - its is simply the work of God (for I had nothing else that day but to pray). I think the last statement says it all, "responsibility" and this is what the marriage brings. If you think you have full responsibility towards your partner go ahead and marry her. I can tell you that most of them you opened up to me had the mind that I will marry them, but you know the result.

How is patriotism education done in your country? Japan[^] is just passed a law making it compulsory to teach patriotism in schools and students are going to be evaluated and graded (may be according to their level of patriotism or is it knowledge of patriotism?), and next the government will come out with the guideline to grade it - getting interesting :-D With love, Paul.

It's not really, which leads to too many English (and I'm being quite deliberate in saying English, not British) people thinking that being patriotic means wrapping a St Georges flag around themselves, getting drunk and fighting (usually in foreign cities) :-( Most of them are following the England football team, but a depressing number also think BNP[^] when you say patriotism. Ho hum. Personally, when I think patriotism, I'm thinking of the (positive) achievements of the country and citizens. Of course, my view of 'positive' may well not match other peoples view of 'positive' :-)

Both books acknowlegde the Bible. The Momons use the Bible, I have meet many of them, but prefer to add. Also, for the Koran, it seems asking a question is a bit difficult

"O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to
you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and
on that account lost their faith." (Surah 5:101-102).

"The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions ...so do not try to
probe into such things." (The Meaning of the Qur'an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-

"The prophet was asked about things which he did not like, and when the
questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry. (vol. 1, no. 92) The Prophet got
angry and his cheeks or his face became red. (vol. 1, no. 91) "Allah has hated
you...[for] asking too many questions." (vol. 2, no. 555; and vol. 3, no. 591,
Bukhari's Hadith commenting on Muhammad’s reaction to hostile questioners.)

No, many Christians read the Bible less than they really should (including myself). I know God is real, because He is real in my life. He heals me whenever I am sick, and I hardly think about hospitals. I am not afraid of tomorrow and will never insure myself against sickness (cancer or whatever). He provides my needs; I just cannot list them up -- the other day, I drove a long distance to church on a fuel that normally only takes me there. Coming back, I had no choice, I simply do not have the money to pay more fuel but you may not believe it I back home any fear, and when I started the fuel level started rising. Initially, I was doubting my own eyes, but finally gave up and started using even the heater - HE IS REAL. Now, I am back in money - I just do not like saving :(( I always feel somebody needs it.

You don't need to be on a hill for your guage to misread -- although that will usually make it less accurate -- it will always read less during the first few minutes of any journey from a cold start.

Hell was not created for human. It was created for sons of disobedience. The sons of disobedience found a way to let something God loves (human) join, by letting them do what they did. Jesus Christ therefore came to give the human a chance to get out of this punishment. So as a human you have a choice, you choose between heaven and hell. I will say the choice is obvious, but not many people simply want to, preferring to "enjoy" the things of this world (sex, drinking, abortion, adultery...name them). I hope you! will make the right choice. With love, Paul.

III, pgs. 76-
                                    77)

My car has a variable fuel gage too, it must have something to do with the temperature or something. Its quite annoying.

1. So to what extent do you believe God controls what happens in our lives? 2. Why aren't other good Christians (such as yourself) as fortunate when they're running out of fuel? 3. Have you tried playing the lottery? Think of all the people you could help with all that money. Please let us know if God makes it happen for you, OK? Alvaro

If you think you have full responsibility towards your partner go ahead and marry her. I can tell you that most of them you opened up to me had the mind that I will marry them, but you know the result.

Not really. Marriage is a public announcement of life-long commitment to your partner. After the wedding's over, it's up to both of you to maintain your commitment. It doesn't happen automatically just because of a wedding; otherwise half of all marriages wouldn't end in divorce.

I disagree. Children come from sex. But humans don't consider sex just a tool for making children. It's way too enjoyable to be used only for that. It's used mainly to satisfy a deep desire to be with the other person. I would say that over 99% of the time that people have sex, children are the last thing on their minds. Think about it! Alvaro
