My own life. Those you knew me before I became a Christian now trust me and those who I meet simply like me - to Jesus be the Glory, He gave me something special and He changed my life.

There are many other books that try to explain what will happen after death (like the Koran or book of morman), how do you know that the Bible is true?

Both books acknowlegde the Bible. The Momons use the Bible, I have meet many of them, but prefer to add. Also, for the Koran, it seems asking a question is a bit difficult

"O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to
you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and
on that account lost their faith." (Surah 5:101-102).

"The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions ...so do not try to
probe into such things." (The Meaning of the Qur'an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-
    77)

"The prophet was asked about things which he did not like, and when the
questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry. (vol. 1, no. 92) The Prophet got
angry and his cheeks or his face became red. (vol. 1, no. 91) "Allah has hated
you...[for] asking too many questions." (vol. 2, no. 555; and vol. 3, no. 591,
Bukhari's Hadith commenting on Muhammad’s reaction to hostile questioners.)

No, many Christians read the Bible less than they really should (including myself). I know God is real, because He is real in my life. He heals me whenever I am sick, and I hardly think about hospitals. I am not afraid of tomorrow and will never insure myself against sickness (cancer or whatever). He provides my needs; I just cannot list them up -- the other day, I drove a long distance to church on a fuel that normally only takes me there. Coming back, I had no choice, I simply do not have the money to pay more fuel but you may not believe it I back home any fear, and when I started the fuel level started rising. Initially, I was doubting my own eyes, but finally gave up and started using even the heater - HE IS REAL. Now, I am back in money - I just do not like saving :(( I always feel somebody needs it.

Oh for fucks sake, I just spent forty five minutes creating a reply for you that explained exactly why your fuel gauge was misreading and CodeProject drops it's connection loosing my reply.  I'm sorry Paul, I don't have time to type that out again. :( I can only summarise that it was not God granting you extra fuel to get home, it was simply physics and the way most cars are designed. You don't need to be on a hill for your guage to misread -- although that will usually make it less accurate -- it will always read less during the first few minutes of any journey from a cold start.

Jesus Christ loves people so much that he sends them to burn forever in hell?

Hell was not created for human. It was created for sons of disobedience. The sons of disobedience found a way to let something God loves (human) join, by letting them do what they did. Jesus Christ therefore came to give the human a chance to get out of this punishment. So as a human you have a choice, you choose between heaven and hell. I will say the choice is obvious, but not many people simply want to, preferring to "enjoy" the things of this world (sex, drinking, abortion, adultery...name them). I hope you! will make the right choice. With love, Paul.

Jesus Christ is LOVE! Please tell somebody.

How about murder, rape, stealing, selling drugs... or you think sex and drinking are worse? :~

Not really. Marriage is a public announcement of life-long commitment to your partner. After the wedding's over, it's up to both of you to maintain your commitment. It doesn't happen automatically just because of a wedding; otherwise half of all marriages wouldn't end in divorce.

I disagree. Children come from sex. But humans don't consider sex just a tool for making children. It's way too enjoyable to be used only for that. It's used mainly to satisfy a deep desire to be with the other person. I would say that over 99% of the time that people have sex, children are the last thing on their minds. Think about it! Alvaro

How is patriotism education done in your country? Japan[^] is just passed a law making it compulsory to teach patriotism in schools and students are going to be evaluated and graded (may be according to their level of patriotism or is it knowledge of patriotism?), and next the government will come out with the guideline to grade it - getting interesting :-D With love, Paul.

Both books acknowlegde the Bible. The Momons use the Bible, I have meet many of them, but prefer to add. Also, for the Koran, it seems asking a question is a bit difficult

on that account lost their faith." (Surah 5:101-102).

probe into such things." (The Meaning of the Qur'an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-

Funny. Why does he make you sick in the first place, if he is just going to turn around and heal you? Just for the hell of it? :omg: I think your god may be a sadist. ;)

Why aren't other good Christians (such as yourself) as fortunate when they're running out of fuel? 3. Have you tried playing the lottery? Think of all the people you could help with all that money. Please let us know if God makes it happen for you, OK? Alvaro

God must get really befuddled at sporting events. With both teams having their before-game prayer for victory, how is God to choose? Especially when people are praying so fervently and for such an important thing. Or is there some suitable punishment for praying for frivolous things (kind of like frivolous lawsuits)? That would be cool.

Nah, I don't think hell was created by anyone but man. And there was only one message from Jesus. And that was the Good News. Brotherhood of man/woman, under the Fatherhood of God. That's it. Nothing more. Moreover when quoting the old testament, Jesus left out the negative part. There was nothing negative in his preachings or his incarnation. He lived a human life and drank the cup to its full, and that's why he died. To live the life of a human means you die like one too. It was man who was responsible for the style of his death and not God's. Also he didn't die for our sins. That's a myth. We are ascending sons of God. We ascend from darkness to light. Jesus was a descending son of God. Descending to pass on some knowledge, which in this case was to live by example and show how to live a life dedicated to God. It was Paul after Pentacost that got all excited about the resurrection and changed the religion that Jesus espoused. What we have today is a gross form of idolotry where we worship Jesus instead of listening to him. He said, "Don't worship me, but worship him who sent me". This is also why he chose to use the moniker: "Son of Man". He didn't deny his divinity and was indeed moved by compassion to performing some deeds, but this was not the intent. It was to live a normal life by doing the will of the father. Also the kingdom is not of this world. He nothing to do with nationalism or patriotism, and this is marked both by denying being the replacement of David and stating, concerning taxes: "Give that which belongs to Caesar to Caesar, and give that which belongs to God to God." which means that the material goes to material and spiritual goes to spiritual. Funny how often we get hypnotized by popular movements instead of sticking with the source. There is only really one choice. The choice to accept your inheritence and continue. There is no hell.
