Atlast, the indians register their first ever test victory in South Africa.:) well, just a few days back, who imagined this would happen?? after badly losing the one day series, the indians showed a lot of character to pull up a sensational victory. Congrats to Team India. :)

You should win all the sports competition. Don't forget you have more than 1 billion citizen in india. How come you never win any world competition

i wish we could do that. but i guess winning all the sports is highly improbable.:)

well, its because not all sports get equal importance here in india. for example, Cricket is given more importance when compared to other sports like Foot Ball or Basket ball. players playing in those sports always lack the resources as well as the technical assistance from experts. hence we are lagging behind in terms of skills and dont perform so well in most of the other sports. But i think it will not be long that indians will make a mark in the other world championships too. :)

There are several reasons for that. One major is lack of encouragement to the other games. But in cricket the situation is a bit different and even we are doing good also in that.

well, this indian victory should serve as a "wake up" call to the south Africans. i would like them to come hard at us in the next match. That will surely liven up the series and make the rest of the series a lot more entertaining and intresting one. :)

Yes, rightly said.:) i dont mind indians losing a match.i am more than satisfied if they can put up a brave fight. but they lost the one-day series without giving a fight. thats what they were criticised for. But i am happy that they have come back well.hope to see some close finishes in this series. :)

India won the 1983 Cricket world cup and were finalists at 2003 World cup. India has also won the Hockey Olympic gold quite a number of times. Do these count? Indians are also doing well at tennis and chess.
