It's a Boy!

At 2:20 PM yesterday, I became the proud father of a bouncing baby boy. Ok, he hasn't really bounced all that much, but I've verified all the right parts are in all the right places. The best part is that yesterday was also my birthday and this was the best gift I could have asked for. His actual due date was today, but I had a feeling he'd be arriving in time to celebrate with me. :-D <-- Me

I guess it is kind of late to wish you a Happy Holiday, given that you've had all your presents early, but all the same: well done! It will certainly save on birthday celebrations in the future. :-D I'm a little disapointed that you waited a whole day to tell us, but I guess you can be forgiven one little indiscretion. It is Christmas after all. ;P I trust mother is doing well too?

Everyone around seems to be having children the last 2-3 weeks, even random people on codeproject. The thought of it horrifies me, but it is so nice to see someone else so happy and excited about something. I'm sure everyone feels a bit of joy at reading your message, and so close to Christmas too :) :-D Congratulations Charlie, random code-project poster somewhere in the world...

Hey, Congratulations! Ever see Robots? The part at the beginning where the Dad forgot to attach that last "part" was great! "This won't hurt a bit, son!"... Welcome to father-hood. It's a wonderful trip.

He has two older sisters that I'm hoping will take it somewhat easy on him. My fingers are crossed, but no breath is being held :)

Sorry. I'd promise to do better next time, but this is it. Three is enough. Waaaaay enough.

That is the trouble with programmers who grew up on the PC using Microsoft "Visual" compilers. Visual doesn't mean a dang thing (unless you have X-ray vision). Go for a whole-body MRI scan!

Cheers mate. Mine turned two before I realized it and was within 10 days of my birthday, my wife's and our anniversary. The whole family is centered around two times of the year, except my dad who is way off from everybody else. :)
