Of course you are right ! If it weren't such a great site where I spend some time nearly every day, it wouldn't bother me. (Of course these hickups won't drive me away anyway. :-) ) It's just that I think that it got worse lately. When I came here a few months ago,I didn't experience any problems at all. Marius

A rarely have issues. Maybe 1 in 30 posts act flakey and every 10-14 days I have trouble surfing through the forums. I usually take that as a sign that i probably have something more productive to do anyway and close my browser (briefly).

I have been experiencing very similar problems for quite a while now. It can irritating. I experience such issues no less than three times a week.

I see that issue a lot sometimes I believe it is my broadband connection being not so broad momentarily. Sometimes it does seem to a problem here or at the least in between me and here. It is not constant so I hadn't bothered to complain about it as the CP is free.

I've seen issues with firefox on this site and some others, if I use IE I don't have the issues....generally what I'll do in FF is restart it and it clears up for a few days.

True. A big site with over 3 million users can drag sometimes. CP is running great considering the massive amount of visits and posts it has a day.

Granted there is over 3 million users, but I've never seen more than 12,000 tops logged in at any given time. So, the number of users registered to the site shouldn't slow it down :rolleyes:

The behavior is at least consistent. I've learned when I need to retry, when not to retry to avoid a double-post, etc. I'm just bummed that the deleted top-level post "feature" was removed! ;)

I'm rather sure. A few minutes ago I finished a 600MB download where the speed never dropped below 400KB/s. This is a normal speed with my ISP. I'm starting to worry that IE7 might cause problems with CP ? :suss: Marius

For me it's approx. 50% when I go to the next page. Do you use IE7 ? (I do.) Marius
