Two accidents in less than a month..... How nice... On the 25 of November and while going to work at 8 A.M. a nice lady was driving down a road and was talking to her 3 years old baby (girl), but for my good luck she didn't pay attention that she is on the main road and pufffffffffffff. i hit her on the side of her car. My neck was injured with a two week therapy, i am back. I took my dad's car (Mercedis) which was severly harmed to be fixed up. I got another car "a BMW", it is very nice car. The second part of the story is that today on November 21, also at 8 A.M. on the same road 20 meters away from the place of the first accident, i had the second accident with a young fellow who was speeding up the road not on his lane of the road when i was crossing the road. 2 accidents in less than one month.... The funny thing is that when i made the accident today i was still in the car and i was just laughing..... Now no car to drive for 2 weeks :^)

      1. Always remember you have no control over the other drivers on the road. 2) You will pass 100's if not 1000's every day you drive, for your entire life 2a) even if .1% of the drivers are ignoring the rules, you are guarenteed to at least figuratively "run into them" on the road, often. 2b) always attempt to keep it figurative rather than literal 3) Defensive driving means you keep an eye out for all the rule 2's 4) you cannot avoid true accidents, you can prepare yourself for what you can avoid, and reduce accidents through safe and defensive driving. 5) You are still here, be happy, it could have been worse! Glad you are safe, hope you get a car back again soon.

How did you hit her car on it's side? It seems you weren't paying much attention either, because she was in front of you when you hit her, unless she appeared in front of you very fast, after skipping a red light or something.

First accident - the other car was on the main road, did you come out of a junction and hit it? Second accident - you didn't watch the traffic?

          The tigress is here :-D

You know if you used defensive driving in Rome or Madrid you'd never get anywhere. Those guys are nuts!

Had to drive in Rome, it was crazy. It take hours to do in a car what you do in 20 minutes in any other city! And the scooters are completely accepted the way they drive (between bumpers, cars, trucks, on the side of the road...).
