      Enough companies have used them as malware spreaders in the past that I wouldn't open one under any circumstance.

        My mom sent me an e-greeting from here.[^] As e-greetings go, it was ok, but as far as the whole idea goes, I wanted to X| Is it so hard for people to be creative nowadays and spend the time to write something in a card and mail it? The only time I would send an e-greeting is if I knew someone that had no address but had an Internet connection. Marc

          Well yr rite of course its obviously more personal to write something on a card, unless yr like me and leave everything 'til the last minute, when snail mail woudnt arrive in time for christmas!! Thanks

            Sending an email is still superior. More personal. Easier on my dial-up connection.

              E-greetings: Just Say No. Seriously: if you care enough about someone (a friend, a colleague or a customer) send them a card. Online cards are cheesy and suffer from the stigma that they are merely email harvesting operations for spammers. If you simply must send electronically, then write them an email. A simple, elegant email.
