    0. figure out what to buy my wife for XMas. 1. order The Item on the 15th, so it will be here by the 25th - order page says it'll be here by the 21st. plenty of time! 2. start to worry, when it's not here by Friday the 22nd, and UPS doesn't deliver on weekends. 3. 23rd, AM. call the company to see where it is. they say it got lost somewhere between them and the shipper. they will try to track it down and let me know the status within 10 business days. 4. relucantly agree, since i don't have a backup plan. 5. wait a few hours. get pissed about the situation. 6. go to local stores to find an equivalent item. find one! buy it! 7. call the first place back, to cancel the order. 8. they now say it's been shipped and is on its way. can't cancel now. 9. clench my fists in fury! 10. listen to The Sword[^], really loud.

Oh, ok. The name sounded somewhat like a Death Metal one. So I thought: On Christmas ? When I'm in that mood I most often listen to Rammstein and/or older Metallica songs. :-) Marius
