    I see on my Dilbert Calendar that it's boxing day in the Queen's english speaking world so Happy boxing day and go beat the crap out of each other (assuming that's what you do on Boxing day) BTW, and this is said of of complete ignorance and a hope to futher my personal politicall correctness, what the heck is Kwanzaa? Has it been around for centuries like Christmas and Hanukah and observed globally or is a recent invention for non-Christian/non-Jewish types in the US.

        I assumed it meant you put all the stuff you didn't want back into the box, and shoved it in the attic.

            Kwanzaa has only been around for about 40 years. It was started during the civil rights movement. As far as I understand, it was developed in the US, by blacks, to help create a stronger sense of community by celebrating black culture and family values. I could be wrong, or perhaps the purpose of the holiday has shifted over the years, I'm not sure.
