I have my workspace setup with my laptop sharing my main monitor. I have my keyboard and mouse hooked up to my laptop too. It is my main system now. I have another keyboard and mouse hooked up to my 3 desktops and they also share my main monitor. I want to be able to configure my dual monitor setup with my laptop to have a taskbar on both monitors and I want to be able to change the wallpaper on each monitor individually. I need something free because I can't be spending my money on unnecessary things right now.

Well then, I guess having a taskbar on both monitors and separate wallpapers is unnecessary. :-D Otherwise I'd suggest Ultramon. Marc

I'm using a trial version of it, its nice. I may buy it when the trial expires. $40 is a lot of money for a simple tool though.

It is? A small Big Mac Meal costs $8. A litre of petrol costs nearly $2. $40 for the extra taskbar alone is good value, let alone the other management features. If you can't afford it now, save up for it. It's a lifetime license you won't regret buying.

I'd guess that you'll either have to whip up said "simple tool" yourself or find a way to come up with the dough-re-mi for UltraMon. I don't know of any free solution that does what you're looking for. Good luck!

WOW!, its around 4-5 bucks here. I usually get 2 double-cheese and a large fry. It cost 3.60 and its more food than a Big Mac and large fry. I can easily buy it but its not a wise purchase for someone in my position, I will just have to wait a while.

Multimon requires that both my monitors be at the same resolution. My desktop is 1280x1024 and my laptop is at 1280x800
