    Hello, Do you know if it is possible to restore a hard-drive completly over network. I mean even if the operating system is damaged or the partitions got deleted like restoring on low-level. I don't think the BIOS offers such a functionality, or maybe with boot from network? Maybe take a small linux installation and install it on a seperate partition? Looking for something like a health monitoring system. Does anybody know some tool? With best regards, Ben

      I have done this before, basically boot to a compact flash drive with a my backup restore software then restore the backup image over the network card. I've heard of people booting from the network into linux before, but never tried it.
