I noticed some people got awarded CodeProject MVP. What are the benefits of being an MVP and how do you get to be an MVP?

Don't suppose we should tell him about the wild, drunken bash thrown in their honor.

I think you'd find the cast of characters (and I do mean characters) pretty much unchanged. :-D

just ask for a poll for an unofficial MVP for the lounge and soapbox.... edit: was that still Most Valuable Persons, or are we talking Most Vocal Persons now?

I could ask a certain question regarding an ommission in that enumeration, but I shall refrain, for some unknown reason. ;P Marc

Well, it seems like nobody is giving you straight answer. Do you get the CP newsletter? It pretty much says it all there: We started The Code Project to help Visual Studio developers with their day to day programming. The articles you read and the answers to your questions on the message boards are all provided by our members. We would like to acknowledge the help of those who, through message votes and article ratings, have been chosen by our readers as the Most Valuable CodeProject.com members of 2006: etc. Marc

No, no, it's me who offers a huge thank you for an undeserved award. I hadn't checked my email until a short time ago and saw the newsletter. Surely there has been some mistake.
