I noticed some people got awarded CodeProject MVP. What are the benefits of being an MVP and how do you get to be an MVP?

Chris, I'm not saying this because I missed out on an MVP this year (Moving job and house takes its toll on the free time one has, so I didn't expect one this year), but this guy[^] who has one article and 31 posts in total is just taking the micky. I know all a CodeProject MVP confers is bragging rights, but even that has to be worth something and the bestowment of an MVP on the aforementioned person just cheapens the whole thing, IMHO.

God like powers? The best part is there is no way to prove whether or not the MVP's have been bestowed with God-like powers because no one personally knows God nor the true definition of God like powers.

I agree 100 percent with you Colin. There is definitely something wrong with the selection process. I think the all the MVP awards should be withdrawn until the selection process is fixed and then the award can be reissued. If that means I loose my MVP then so be it.

31 questions only? He's barely past lurker status. Give his MVP to Colin Mackay - now he deserves it.

Infrared is what I tried to spell. Its light that you cannot see and it is warm. Infrared lamps are used to heat surfaces or objects. When you come in contact with infrared you will feel heat (unless its low power infrared like what your remote controls produce).
