Twas just a joke Nish....:) My country is the Peoples Republic of Wetax BTW, are they ever going to release that new book of yours?

Why is common sense not common? Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level where they are an expert. Sometimes it takes a lot of work to be lazy

Unfortunately, there have been some publishing delays. The e-book may be available pretty soon, but the physical book may be later than expected.

I've been running the plug in for winamp for a while and its interesting to see the stats of what I've been listening to. It would be very cool if it could get stats from my ipod when I connect it to the pc and upload those as I tend to use that a lot more than mp3's on my pc

Actually, it's even worse. Undre Tools/Plug-ins there is an entry for AudioScrobbler WMP plugin and that entry is checked. But the icon for the systray is non-existent. I suspect it is because I'm using WMP version 11 and the plug-in isn't supported. :((

I'm currently listening to our Last.fm group[^] radio. I know it's been said before, but holy crap. This is some diverse music. I just got done listening to some Infected Mushroom[^] and now I'm listening to Black Sabbath (no surprise where that comes from ;)). Infected Mushroom is interesting. I'd have never even heard of them if it wasn't for this group. And while I wouldn't normally say that I like trance music, it was actually pretty good. If you haven't already, you should join. Unless it's Britney and X-ina, I think you might be surprised. There's everything from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Muse, U2, Johnny Cash (last week's top 5) to Don Davis, Broder Daniel, Forbidden Broadway, Tanzwut, and God Module (last 5 items on last week's list). Oh, and the afore mentioned were #94 and #15, apparently.

Not really. You cannot play a particular song or a even particular artist. Last.fm will play songs similar to an artist you choose, or songs tagged similar to the tag you've chosen, but that's as close as you can get.

                  Cheers, Vikram.

I've used Pandora. I don't like having to keep a browser window open to play music. Also, I like the fact that this is tailored to our group here, so I get to listen to some music I would never have heard of before.

I would join, but I doubt the CP crowd is interested in the stuff I listen to... ;)

Heh. I don't listen to a whole lot of religious music, so I fit right in. ;P Besides, if you don't want anybody to know about what you're playing, you can always disable scrobbling. ;)
