Been a guitar player for 5 years, bass guitar for nearly 2 years. Entirely self-taught. I enjoy the idea of teaching myself because I get to develop my own style instead of copying a tutor's style. I also dabble with keyboards and stuff. I mostly stick to my bass now since I have always enjoyed good basslines. Basslines for me are the most important part of a track. I started taking piano lessons about a month ago. I know the C, E and G positions hand positions, as well as the C, D7, G and G7 chords. I'm hoping to be able to play the Entertainer within the next two months (it's a failry difficult song for a beginner...lots of hand position changes). Also play bass ( no its not the same thing ) a little piano ( just enough to compose on but not good enough to play at a gig ).
