It is snowing here in Waterford, Ireland. Woooohooo! It is the first time I have ever had to drive in snow (though it isn't settling yet, too wet and it melts as it hits the ground.) On the bad side our office heating is broken, so I am sitting here coding away in my snow jacket. :-D

Aren't there Health and Safety laws about that in Ireland in Paul? :) I'm sure there is a minimum legal working office temperature, and if it falls below this, home time!

No worries VuNic, it is amazing to me too. This is only the second or third time I have seen falling snow.

Wow then it must be a wonder-time for you. Enjoy it Paul :). You know down the south(India) most of time it's sunny-Hot weather. Snow is somewhat a magical stuff for us. (atleast to me). Often I used to guess the amount of excitement Nish must have had when he moved to Cananda. :-O. And may be it's the reason I'm not against Global warming, in a twist wont it start to snow in India . [Pure joke] :-D

Dont worry Viram, we have our own place[^] to enjoy the snow and it's safe too ;). Shootings do happen there but it's only with heros and heroines :-D. Nainital is also in my list. But we need to get enough time to plan for such a long trip.

Watch in the morning, refrozen snow can be really nasty as the ice has an irregular surface. PS Won't a jacket made of snow get soggy?

Temperature of 60F (15.5C) or less for an hour in the UK - I know, 'cause we came very close to meeting that a couple of years ago when our heating was bust - I think we averaged 60.1F...

Snowed in Tucson, Arizona too. I'm closer to Phoenix, but I can see snow on the local mountains.

Our office water pipes burst in a cold snap last weekend, been without water for a week, have to go to the bar next door for its facilities... which seems like a cyclical process.

I'm in Johnstown PA and we've been getting gyped. We've repeatedly had snowfalls slashed from several inches to a coating to an inch, and have yet to see more than 3-4" on the ground at one time this year. The kiddies are restless.
