**************************************************************** (the above are several curse words that have been fused into the worlds most powerful curse, I have censored it to protect innocent minds) Today started out so well.... I just finished installing "Sims 2 Pets" on the family machine. The first problem I was having was that it wasn't recognizing the CD so the game wasn't starting (this was followed by many, many "Dad, Why isn't it working"'s). Finally I found a forum that said that I just needed to reboot(should have thought of that). Well after a reboot the game recognised the CD but froze during load. I then killed the box and started it up again. This time I was hit by a BSOD. I tried save mode, BSOD! I tried every single thing I could think of, BSOD BSOD BSOD. Now I just realized that I havn't backed that machine up in about 4 months!!! Guess I'll be calling Vault Central tomorrow and adding an extra location to the pickup list. The final cherry on top is that my new laptop cannot connect to the LAN. I have tried everything I can think of but for some reason it just won't connect (any ideas what might be causing this?). I need a drink.

Just by Nintendogs, that's what I did.  Consoles rock, they just always work.

My kids are 10 and 6.  They get what they're given and know no better.

My wife's computer had a devil of a time recognizing the Pets expansion. I tried her CD in my computer and it worked fine. I ended up swapping discs with her as her computer would read mine without any problems. Go figure. Flynn
