This is simply sick. I was already disgusted seeing all christmas decoration and toys in our stores by the end of september. How far will this go ? Mind it, if they go on starting earlier, they will soon revolve and prepare christmas again in december ... one year early.

Aha, but how do you know that the Easter Eggs for sale now are intended for Easter 2007? Maybe they've already lapped us and are working on Easter 2008...

Here I thought you were going to post about an 'Easter egg' you found in Vista. Oh well. I guess Microsoft is still all boring and corporate.

They had them in the shops over here on Christmas Eve. Mind you, last year I saw my first Christmas display in a shop in Gretna Green in June.

I especially like the announcements of the Harlem Gospel Singers' Christmas concert in May. :wtf:

Yup, they'd started taking down the christmas stuff and putting up the easter stuff on Christmas Eve at our local Morrisons :-S Do Cadbury's Cream Eggs count as easter eggs? Those seem to appear around November time

As far as the public demands. Not until folks come to their sense and realize that they can indeed survive without the mall and Wal-Mart will the retailers stop dictating how/when we shop.
