Here's SUSE 10.2: http://developer.kde.org/~binner/vmware/[^]
"When you have made evil the means of survival, do not expect men to remain good. Do not expect them to stay moral and lose their lives for the purpose of becoming the fodder of the immoral. Do not expect them to produce, when production is punished and looting rewarded. Do not ask, `Who is destroying the world?' You are."

This is a list of images of virtual machines: http://www.vmware.com/vmtn/appliances/directory/[^] I think the newest Ubuntu version is 2.6.19 - but you'd have to check for yourself. Use the search box at the top of the page to search for various linux distros.

Actually, I haven't seen a distro with 2.6.19 out of the box. But you can easily install for example Fedora Core 6 (which has 2.6.18) and then do a kernel update.

-Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Randaarrghh :) ! tha latest ubuntu 6.10 ships only with 2.6.17 kernel. Its strange, seems that there are no vmwares for Linux distros with linux 2.6.19 or above kernel :(

-Atlas Shrugged, Ayn RandHey Rohde, I just checked that I have already a fedora 5 vmware, do you think it would be harder to perform the update from here ? So that I will not have to wait for downloading the fedora 6. thanks. -- modified at 12:40 Saturday 27th January, 2007
