Hi chaps, The company I am contracting for, have a client who are after an online test solution. I have been supplied with what they are after on paper and I am not too sure how to go about it. The website will display a cicuit diagram with a number of "pieces" underneath that the user can drag and drop into the correct places. They will be awarded points for each correct placement. The problem is the client doesn't have state of the art PC's and they're running old versions of Explorer, certainly no newer than version 4. Any ideas? I have been hunting around for java applets and so on but have not come up with anything. Any help would be appreciated :) Nick

How about knocking up an ActiveX control to download in the page? Another avenue to look into at least...

Thanks Dylan... I could certainly do that but we're a bit limited in terms of time. Would you know of any downloadable products that do this? Nick

I think java applets are the way to go in your case. Are you searching for a solution which is already available on the web or you want to develop something?

Hi Rama, I am looking to see if such a thing already exists that we can download. If there isn't anything out there, then we'll develop something from scratch. Thanks. Nick

They aren't able to run Flash, which is a real shame because I'd very much would have liked to do it that way! Nick

Why can't they just install flash? Sometimes you have to solve one problem in order to solve another :) Todd Smith

I am not too sure why... but their system is a bit behind the times!
