I'm a newbie at 29062. Been here 5 years next month, but at least I've written some articles. Nyah-nyah-nyah. :)

I'm #152 but I'm among the folks that were assigned user numbers alphabetically. If I'd been named Aaron I might have gotten #2 ;)

I slacked for a few years before staying with an id. I probably have an old one from a previous company. I remember when he was starting the site with input from some of us on the WinDev emailing list. So I was there when Chris was still working at CodeGuru and probed us about if he should break away and start up code tools, due to the direction CodeGuru was headed. Funny, I was actually helping another guy compete with Chris at the time, but he did a better job and was up and running faster (Maunder that is). The guy I was helping was asking our group to help support the cost of the web servers. Heh. Lets just say it deteriorated from there. If I had known the prestige associated I might have retained my login. Nah, probably not.

Chris found a couple of my old accounts. From when I used company emails as my login. first one is member #940 and the second one is member #6026.

Revived my old account.
This statement was never false.

Same here for several reasons: A) I am my own worst critic: everyone else here is better at articles. :) B) Work makes it difficult to do outside publishing anywhere C) I am too lazy.... ;P

Memories... I remember arguing on the C++ forum that this upcoming "C sharp" language would have a role to fill, and would indeed prove to be useful.

[sarcasm] still waiting for this to happen. [/sarcasm]
I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:

Nope - it's been longer. July 6, 2000 Chris et al rebuilt the database and we all got the same start date.
