:jig: Fantastic fluffy flakes floating down from the sky, and I will take the internet to work this time. It's been years since I've seen nice fat snowflakes actually accumulate more than .1 inches on the ground. A steady stream is falling, I have about an inch and half on the back deck and have been hearing predictions for 3-4" totals. I know that's bupkis for a lot of you Northerners, but people go nuts over this kind of weather in South Carolina. So I'll stay in my jammies, grab a cup of nice, hot coffee and work from the kitchen where I have a good clear view of birds fighting for a perch on the snow covered birdfeeder.

I'm sitting here in my Durham, NC office right now pretending to work. Outside there's not a thing falling from the sky yet, but on the t.v. they're reporting *355* closings. I'm secretly hoping NOTHING happens today up here, because that kind of thing humors me :)

Last year wasn't so bad for me, about 2 or 3 years ago when we had that huge one and it took me 3 1/2 hours to cross half of Durham was more than enough. When it starts coming down, I go into "Telecommute in my underwear" mode :)

FLAKES! Thank God. Now I can spend my whole afternoon trying to figure out PHP. You HAVE to love it when you get thrown into a project you knew nothing about because the other guy quit :)

Hmmm...CNN's gonna be all over this. "The war on global warming - Horror in South Carolina":) At least you can sort of justify having our Stanley Cup down there for a few days.
