A fellow by the name of Don Park apparently came up with idea of Identicons. This isnt the direct link but it has a nice intro and points you in the right direction. Jef Atwood Blog http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000774.html[^] Very cool idea i think. It just needs a practical application. Phishmarking is one possible use for the technology but I am sure you guys might come up with others. Cheers, David

Seem cool, don't know how useful they really are though. I liked the random monster version.

Already tried implementing them and the same code is broken. And then my short attention span was distracted by something shiny and I never bothered following up.

        cheers, Chris Maunder

Yea I agree. I still haven't wrapped my head around a useful application of it just yet but I think I will let it roll around in there and perhaps I might have an epiphany. :-D David

Ok, then... how about this[^]? It'd probably be a drop-in deal, 'soon as CP's PHP re-write is done...
