Newegg and shipping to Canada

Need to buy something, and newegg has the best price. Unfortunately ,I couldnt not find on their website whether they ship to Canada. Does anyone know if they do? And if they don't, is anyone living in US willing to receive my item, if I do order it, and then ship it to me in Canada? Of course, I'll pay back whatever you spend on shipping it. Plus some to make a round number..a _small_ round number ;p

I'm not sure where you live. But here on the East Coast, I ship stuff to a place called A.N. Deringer in Calais Maine. They are a broker. I called them and got their address. So all I do is ship the package there with my name on it. They will sign for it and hold the package. I go pick it up and they charge me $3.30US per package, then when I bring it back across the border, I only pay taxes on what I'm bringing over. This is really good for large packages where some companies charge you a fortune in brokerage. If it's 1 package, you still only pay $3.30 regardless of size :) If you go to http://www.anderinger.com[^] you might be able to find an office near where you live. If you do, give them a call and see if they will do the same for you. Hope that helps :)

I use newegg all the time. Good prices, predicatable shipping, and great customer service... I would be stunned if they didn't ship to Canada. In fact, they use FedEx, so I'm sure they do. If you are still not sure, shoot their customer service dept. an email....

Was that really the best you had? You just repeated my line. Nobody outside of Canada has a clue what the other 3 territories are, nor do they care. If nothing else, I learned Canada wasn't one territory. (please don't respond with something as witty as Nobody cares about the States. I'm not sure I could stand the wit.)

I use newegg all the time. Good prices, predicatable shipping, and great customer service... I would be stunned if they didn't ship to Canada. In fact, they use FedEx, so I'm sure they do. If you are still not sure, shoot their customer service dept. an email....

Does TD.ca have decent normal pricing? Except for their rebated items the US version tends to be significantly more expensive than newegg, etc.

Yeah, I've heard that, but I usually compare prices among TD, Future Shop, Staples, NCIX, and maybe a few of the other brick-and-mortar and on-line dealers on my list. TD will occasionally come out a bit more expensive, but often as not they're a bit cheaper than all of the others. It always pays to check, though. I got a deal on my in-car GPS from Future Shop on-line when they happened to have a sale price that none of the others could touch. I also got a specialty scanner recently that only TD carried; none of the others had it at all since it was quite specialized. Speaking of that, I find I often order little specialty accessories and supplies from TD -- they carry a much wider range of odd little things than the local stores that I could conveniently drive to (Future Shop, Staples, The Source, and London Drugs in my case).

Well I use NCIX and TD alot too, but newegg just had a better price. Not by much though, though TD is probably gona get my money this time. Oh well, at least I know that there wont be problems with my order - never used newegg so dont know how that woulve gone. Thanks for the tips btw.
